Mission Statement: The Orange Senior Center provides activities that promote independence, creativity, physical and emotional health, and lifelong learning for residents over the age of 55.
Due to the Covid-19 Senior Center activities are limited. Community Services staff are working and can be reached by phone at 203-891-4788.

Frozen Meals
Orange Community Services in conjunction with our congregate lunch program has arranged for a special frozen meal program consisting of a box of 5 frozen meals during the Covid-19 pandemic. We can deliver them or you can come by and pick the meals up. Delivery is only available to Orange residents. Call the office to complete an application. Suggested donation is $3 per meal, would be greatly appreciated is your are able. Below is a picture representing the contents of the frozen meal box. Delivery is usually mid day Thursdays.

Legal Clinic
We are resuming our Legal Clinic services. Attorney Floman DePaola’s office will conduct appointments via telephone on the first Wednesday of the month. Appointments will be for 1/2 an hour beginning at 9:00am. Please call the senior center at 203-891-4788 to schedule an appointment. We will forward the schedule to Floman DePaola office who will then contact you at the scheduled time. Please be home for the appointment.

The Orange Senior Center is committed to promote independence, creativity, sound physical and emotional health, and life-long learning for persons over the age of 55. The center provides opportunities for education, cultural development, socialization, and community services. Non-residents are welcome to join for an annual fee.
WORD FROM THE SENIOR SERVICES COORDINATOR
The Orange Health Department continues to administer Covid vaccines at the community center. To register for a shot, go to orange-ct.gov and click on “Vaccine Form”. If you do not have internet, call the senior center office and we will try to assist you.
I am very excited to announce the return of the Hiking Group. Marianne Bauer and Judy Fitol will lead the group at various area hikes. The hike will take 1 hour and go about 2 miles.
The AARP Tax program continues 2 days a week: Wednesdays & Fridays until April 14. Be sure to bring with you: last year’s tax returns, complete tax information for 2019, Social Security card for everyone on the return and a photo ID. You need to register in advance by calling 203-891-4784.
